Let's Talk About Your Child's IEP

I help frustrated parents of children ages 3-12 years old get the IEP and school supports they need to be successful in school.

Imagine This...

Smooth IEP Meetings

No more surprises when you walk into your child’s IEP meeting. I’ll help you plan what to ask, organize your concerns, and feel more prepared before the meeting.

Smart IEP Goals

Your child is unique, and your family is too. I’ll help you think through IEP goals that fit your child’s needs and support meaningful progress.

Simple IEP Strategies

Your child’s IEP should make sense. I’ll help you understand the plan, prepare questions, and talk through practical next steps with your child’s school team.

What We Can Do Together...

1

Find the Root

IEP struggles need more than a band-aid fix. We’ll look at what is getting in the way and talk through the supports your child may need.

2

Negotiate

There is more than one way to provide FAPE. We’ll talk through options, questions, and next steps so you feel more prepared to work with the school team.

3

Monitor

No more IEP details falling through the cracks. We’ll review what to watch for, how to track concerns, and when to ask follow-up questions.

Questions?

Do you attend IEP meetings?

Yes, I can attend IEP meetings. However, my goal is to give you the tools you need to be the voice for your child. My role at the IEP table is to support you and make sure your voice is heard, requests are respected, and proper decisions are made.

Do you give legal advice?

I’m not a lawyer and I don’t give legal advice. I can use the foundation of the law to support you, your IEP requests, and help you negotiate for an appropriate IEP for your child.
